Information duty acc to. REACH regulation (EC) NO 1907/2006
CONTA-CLIP Verbindungstechnik GmbH manufactures and supplies products which qualify as “articles”, as defined in the REACH regulations, and which therefore do not require registration with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in Helsinki.
The registration of the products which you obtain from us is not mandatory according to the REACH regulation. Consequently chemical substances contained in our products that may be obligatory for registration must be registered exclusively by our pre-suppliers.
In our own interest and for the guarantee of a high product safety we are in pursuit of putting into action the REACH regulation and the requirements resulting from it intensively. In recognition of our duties within the supply chain, and to ensure full compliance with this legislation, all CONTA-CLIP Verbindungstechnik GmbH facilities in Europe are working with their suppliers to ensure the proper pre-registration and registration of all base chemical substances, as appropriate.
We will continue our efforts in this area to ensure that there is no disruption within the supply chain and that all products manufactured and supplied by CONTA-CLIP Verbindungstechnik GmbH will be fully compliant with the regulations. Following REACH article 33, the duty to inform about substances in products is only applicable for so called substances of very high concern (SVHC). In order to meet our obligations under Article 33 of the Regulations, we will advise of any products which contain substances subsequently included on published candidate lists.
Based on our supplier statements we currently have SVHC in some of our products above the respective thresholds for declaration obligation resulting from article 33. This situation however could potentially be a different for example after new SVCH are published by the ECHA. As soon as declaration obligations will apply for further CONTA-CLIP Interface products, the effected articles and contained SVHC will published in the online product catalogue at each product.
The European Chemicals Agency ECHA decides which substances are liable to this regulation .You can find the current list of SVHC Candidates under
