SPTK test disconnect terminal blocks are primarily used in the field of electricity generation and electricity supply. They are tailored to the diverse switching requirements of current transformer secondary circuits that prevail there. Current transformers must always have a closed secondary circuit when measuring instruments, electricity meters and comparative measurements are replaced. The current or voltage paths are separated by means of a captive, screw-on isolating slide. The switch position is easily recognisable at all times as the separating screw has a yellow insulating sleeve. In all versions, STBI 19/4 sockets can be contacted for a test tap using a PS 4 test plug or commercially available insulated test plugs (4 mm).
