KES cable entries: the space savers

The KES cable entries have a particularly flat design and enable space-saving professional cable entry with a high level of tightness. Thanks to the high packing density, the KES system is primarily suitable for applications where installations have to be carried out in confined spaces and installation conditions.

Many cables in a confined space

Many cables with different diameters from 3.2 mm to 20.5 mm can be inserted in a very small space and sealed twice (IP66) thanks to the special design of the conical grommets.

Two components

The KES system consists of two components. The inner core made of polyamide PA 6.6 GF is crucial for stability and strain relief and is overmoulded with TPE in the sealing areas to ensure tightness in accordance with protection class IP66.

Strain relief included

The special geometry of a multi-layer membrane cone grommet ensures maximum strain relief for the cables in accordance with DIN EN 62444.

KES 0031

UL 94 V-0 classification

KES is designed for use in mounting cut-outs for 24-pin, heavy-duty connectors. All variants are available in grey and black. The materials used comply with the UL 94 V-0 classification.

KES 0038

Can be used from -40 °C to +90 °C

Halogen-free and silicone-free materials for a wide range of requirements and applications.

KES (without threaded bush) is screwed to the housing wall from the outside.

Screw fastening with threaded bushes and locking hooks

KES-GB is latched onto the housing wall from the outside using the latching hooks and screwed through the housing wall from the inside using the integrated threaded bushes.
