Manage your process, no matter where you are
This is no problem with the CONTA-Supervision IOT portal!
The GSM-PRO2 series from CONTA-CLIP enables remote monitoring and control of decentralised systems or installations using 4G technology. The GSM-PRO2(E) module informs the user when certain statuses or limit values are reached by transmitting digital and/or analogue input values via SMS or email. The use of iPhone and Android apps simplifies the monitoring and control of the module. The digital relay outputs can also be switched via SMS to enable decentralised control of the process. The modules are parameterised intuitively via a user-friendly application.
The CONTA-SUPERVISION portal is available as a web browser and app version. The apps can be downloaded from the Google Play or Apple Store. The CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal synchronises itself via the cloud. Therefore, the devices on which the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT Portal is to be used require a data connection. This is also required for the GSM-PRO2 I/O communication module. Synchronisation can be set in real time or in a specific time period. The real-time experience could be important if analogue inputs are used, for example for liquid levels, weight or temperature measurements. In any case, CONTA-SUPERVISION synchronises every time the upper or lower limit value is exceeded. The same applies to digital inputs when the edge of rising and falling levels alternates. please describe briefly and excitingly, arousing interest
In addition to the new CONTA-SUPERVISION app, the previous GSM-PRO2 app will remain active for the time being. The GSM-PRO2 app only synchronises when threshold values are exceeded or if you update the app manually. If you activate an output in the app, the app sends an SMS to the GSM-PRO2 I/O communication module and the GSM-PRO2 synchronises the GSM-PRO2 app via the cloud. To do this, the GSM-PRO2 module must have a data connection.</p
Parallel to the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal/app and the GSM-PRO2 app, it is also possible to control the GSM-PRO2 via SMS commands and to send SMS messages and emails to the selected users if changes (digital) or limit values (analogue) are exceeded.
No need to manage a GSM-PRO2 via the IoT Portal or the app? No problem, even without the IoT Portal and the app it is possible to use the GSM-PRO2 I/O communication module. Set your own SMS command to control an output that is switched on or off with these commands. The module is able to respond with an SMS (or email) to inform the user that the action has been performed. The outputs can be set so that only selected users can control them to prevent misuse.
If a machine has a fault, a message can be sent to the maintenance technician or maintenance team to minimise downtime. The GSM-PRO2 is able to send an SMS or an email. For extra attention, it can make a call to selected users. The GSM-PRO2 does not incur any costs as the connection is interrupted before the recipient picks up the receiver. The module has the option of starting a message cycle via input, which only ends when someone responds with the correct "stop" command or the maximum number of cycles has been reached. In the event that the maintenance technician has to decide to switch off the machine, this is possible with the GSM-PRO2 output for non-critical processes.
Irrigation systems are often also in operation at the end of the day or at night. By integrating the GSM-PRO2 into the electrical installation, it is possible to recognise when the irrigation system is finished. As soon as the work is finished, the GSM-PRO2 can send an SMS, an e-mail or a phone call to confirm to the farmer that the work has been completed. In this way, the farmer can enjoy maximum peace of mind. During the day, the farmer can prepare the irrigation system and in the evening he can simply switch on the entire system. That saves time.
A large number of signals come together in a switchgear system. Current and voltage-controlled signals, analogue and digital signals. One signal is more important than the other. If a GSM-PRO2 I/O communication module does not have enough inputs and outputs, it can be flexibly expanded with extensions. These signals can be connected to the GSM-PRO2 I/O communication module and convert them into messages when threshold values are exceeded or the edge increases or decreases. If an incorrect measured value is detected or the machine's operating switch is actuated via an emergency button, the GSM-PRO2 is able to send a message to the maintenance technician to minimise downtime.
The GSM-PRO2 I/O communication module has two universal inputs and a digital relay output. The universal input can be set in analogue or digital mode. In digital mode, the module can send e-mail or SMS messages and make phone calls by changing an edge. In analogue mode, the module can send e-mail or SMS messages and make phone calls when upper and lower threshold values are exceeded. The values are displayed in real time in the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal/app and an output can be operated at the touch of a finger. In addition to the universal inputs, the GSM-PRO2 has a counter input. This can, for example, track the number of kWh on the basis of pulses. The output relay has 2 contacts and a rated current of 10 amps at 230 V AC. The GSM-PRO2 I/O communication module utilises the 4G, 3G and 2G frequency bands.
The GSM-PRO2E I/O communication module is the bigger brother of the GSM-PRO2. The GSM-PRO2E has 10 universal inputs and 4 digital relay outputs. The universal input can be set in analogue or digital mode. In digital mode, the module can send e-mail or SMS messages and make phone calls by changing an edge. In analogue mode, the module can send e-mail or SMS messages and make phone calls when upper and lower threshold values are exceeded. The values are displayed in real time in the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal/app and an output can be operated at the touch of a finger.</p
In addition to the universal inputs, the GSM-PRO2 has a counter input. This can, for example, keep track of the number of kWh based on pulses. The output relay has 2 contacts and a rated current of 10 amps at 230 V AC. The GSM-PRO2 I/O communication module utilises the 4G, 3G and 2G frequency bands.
If the inputs and outputs of the main I/O communication module are not sufficient, the main I/O communication module can be flexibly expanded with expansion modules for remote monitoring and control. Thanks to the modular system, the extension modules can be easily connected to the main module. For easy recognition, each module can be given its own name, which is displayed in all applications.
The digital expansion module has 10 inputs that can be given their own logical name, which is displayed in all applications. When the edge changes from high to low, a message is displayed in the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal/app. Or an SMS or email can be sent to selected users. It is also possible to receive a call. There is an LED indicator for each input that shows whether the input is on or off. The status LED indicates whether the expansion module is working properly.
A digital extension module has 4 relay outputs. Each output can be given a logical name that is displayed in all applications. It is possible to operate an output in real time via the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal and the app. It is also possible to operate the output via SMS commands, which can be defined by the user. The output extension offers the option of providing feedback via SMS or email that the output has switched. A message is briefly displayed in the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal and the app and then moved to the event list. The output can be switched on or off or has a pulse option. The digital output expansion modules are available in 2 versions, 24V DC and 12V DC.
The analogue expansion module has 8 inputs that work with voltage (0V-10V DC) and current (0mA-20mA) and also offer the option of connecting PT1000 or NI1000 sensors directly. Each input can be set to its own unit as well as a minimum and maximum value. Each input can have its own upper and lower threshold values. When one of these values is passed, the module can send a message via SMS or e-mail or a call to selected users. A message is displayed shortly in the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal and in the app. The text can be defined by the user. The input extension offers the option of delaying the message if a threshold value is exceeded. This is an important function in the event of fluctuations in a liquid tank. In addition, each input offers a log functionality that is logged at the same interval as the main module.
The analogue extension module has four 0V-10V DC outputs. Each output can have its own user who is authorised to operate the output. An output can be operated in 5 predefined output levels via SMS command. In the CONTA-SUPERVISION IoT portal and app, it is possible to operate the output continuously.
The CONTA-CON extension module was developed to establish a simple connection to the PLC via the MODBUS RTU RS232 protocol. A PLC can write a value to a specific data set. Based on the change of the value, the module can send an SMS or e-mail message. The CONTA-CON can write a specific value to a data set of the PLC to start a process. In addition, the CONTA-CON can also be used as an additional power supply when using multiple extensions.
