With one click, the area manager can see the water level at various points in the system. If the water level rises unexpectedly, the pumps switch on automatically and the CONTA-SUPERVISON IoT portal sends a warning message. The area manager logs into the portal and sees that the water level is rising. He checks that the pumps are working and is reassured. Suddenly, a pump in the system fails. The module recognises this immediately and sends another warning message. An alarm loop starts. This means that the module attempts to contact the area manager at regular intervals by text message and phone call. As soon as the area manager sees the warning message, he logs into the portal and gets an overview of the situation. He also sends an SMS to the module to stop the alarm loop. The area manager tries in vain to restart the failed pump. When this doesn't work, he sends a technician to repair the pump. Shortly afterwards, the water level drops and flooding is ruled out.
