Code of conduct: the basis of our actions

CONTA-CLIP is aware of its responsibility as a company but also as an employer towards our environment, our customers, partners and employees.

We have developed internal guidelines for our daily actions. We want to communicate our standards and values for business practices and exemplary corporate behaviour in the Code of Conduct.

Code of Conduct

This Code provides us with a framework within which we act and helps us to fulfil our responsibilities. In conjunction with our guiding principles, the Code of Conduct is a guide and advisor for our daily work.

The standards and values are not new, but it is increasingly important for internationally operating companies to make these practices and principles accessible to everyone at all times by documenting "in black and white" how we behave worldwide.

We have kept the rules of conduct general, but they cannot cover every conceivable situation. The core elements of individual and corporate responsibility are intended to give all employees a clear understanding of the principles and ethical values that apply at CONTA-CLIP.  In addition to the Code of Conduct, CONTA-CLIP is committed to the values recognised and applicable in liberal democracies. In our business activities, we observe the following international standards and guidelines in particular: 

  • The United Nations (UN) Declaration of Human Rights 
  • The United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of the Child 
  • The guidelines of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development 
  • The eight fundamental principles of the "Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work" of the International Labour Organization (ILO)
