From 1,500 item numbers in the catalogue, we now have over 20,000 items.

In 2023, we are 45 years old - and fortunately still in family hands. The fact that the daughter of our founder, Bianca Klaß, took over in 2005 was of great importance to us.

With her, we not only survived the financial and economic crisis in 2008/09 and the coronavirus pandemic in 2020/21, but also invested extensively and set new milestones. Bianca Klaß and our founder are a good example of how generational change can work. 

In 2008, we started thinking about a new logistics centre. The pallets were stacked higher and higher until they could go no further, and the storage compartments were crammed to the maximum.

The result was a new logistics centre, which we opened in the year of the economic crisis - not without a queasy feeling in the face of this global crisis.

We set another milestone in 2008 with the investment in automation: The entry into automated assembly. A good decision. Without automation, we would not be fit for the future today.

In 2020, we completed the new building at our headquarters in Hövelhof in a nine-month construction phase.
Once again, we had forged construction plans shortly before a crisis, so we now jokingly say: "When we start building at CONTA-CLIP, the start of a crisis is not far away."

The injection moulding area was doubled and the machines were repositioned. Currently, only all-electric injection moulding machines are being purchased, which consume considerably less electricity and work more precisely, because sustainability is an important aspect of doing business for us.

Our continuous building evolution shows: 
We are looking ahead. We are ready for growth.

Together with our Managing Director Jörg Nowastowski-Stock - his brother Holger retired in 2022 - and the management team, we are becoming more modern. The values of trust, consistency, reliability and humanity that we have lived by here for decades are fortunately continuing to grow.

The attitude of achieving the best for the company with a cooperative and dignified manner in dealing with employees, customers and suppliers is paying off.

We are on the verge of a new stage. After decades of "step by step", we now want to grow significantly more. To do this, we need a spirit of optimism.

We have ideas for new solutions and how we can bring them to the markets accordingly.

Our products are needed in an industry that is fundamental to the megatrends of electrification and digitalisation and will enable us to move towards a more sustainable society. We are driving them forward with our industry. After all, networking in all areas, such as the energy sector, industrial production and e-mobility, requires the right components, which we supply.

We have managed to step out of the shadow of terminal block manufacturers and establish our own foothold in the field of cable management, underpinning this foothold with patents and proving ourselves as a provider of ideas and innovator.

The general orientation and transformation towards electrical energy will be another milestone for us. At the right time, with enthusiastic employees and good framework conditions, we will manufacture sought-after products that contribute to providing answers to the major issues of our time.
