Our DNA to this day...
"Experience paired with openness to new ideas and inspiration "
What factors have led to our success? We have all worked hard. The commitment and perseverance of our founder and his family have left an impressive impression on us. That's why we were happy to get involved, because we feel part of this development process. The family sets a positive example and characterises a respectful approach to us. For decades, our boss inspected production every evening before he went home and enquired how we were doing. We were already expecting his arrival.
Our boss also looks after the future. That's motivating. She thinks about the impact that decisions have on employees.
The generation of long-serving employees who helped build CONTA-CLIP worked under different conditions than today, sometimes under demanding physical labour that brought them together. They know the company inside out. The younger generation can benefit from their experience. At the same time, the younger employees contribute new and contemporary ideas. Let us be inspired by their curiosity and openness. Only by combining the experience and composure of the older generation with the new insights of the younger generation can we move forward.
Like all companies, we are faced with the major challenge of recruiting qualified staff and retaining them in the long term. This is the only way our specialist departments can grow with us. The shortage of specialists and managers requires a careful balance. Despite the limited number of applicants, we have to check carefully who suits us and who is prepared to live the principle of mutual equality in everyday working life. Because our collaboration stands or falls on this.</p
