Conta-Clip continuously expands its KES cable entry range and places a particular emphasis on products for the food industry made of certified, hygienic material. The latest addition, the round FDA KES-R-FDA M variants in characteristic blue enable quick and space-saving feed-through of up to 68 conductors into control cabinets or machine housings. The cable entries, which consist of a robust polyamide frame with injected elastomer, have integrated locking hooks for easy installation. They are first locked into housing openings from the outside and then fixed from the inside with lock nuts. After piercing the outer membrane at a marked insertion point, users simply push cables, wires or hoses through. Tapered TPE sleeves at the back of the cable entry ensure tight sealing according to protection class IP66. The elastomer of the new KES-R-FDA M variant is FDA-compliant and meets the hygiene requirements of food approvals 1935/2004/EC and (EU) 10/2011. Featuring smooth surfaces and rounded corners, the products are suitable for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Conta-Clip currently offers the FDA-compliant cable entries KES-R-FDA M in 15 round variants for different numbers of conductors with different diameters.

The compact TTPCardMAX thermal transfer printer fulfills all labeling needs for electrical installations – a clever label printing solution from the Conta-Label range of Conta-Clip, one of the leading manufacturers of electrical connection technology. The versatile printer provides outstanding print quality with high resolution. With 12 new card types especially for Conta-Clip terminal blocks added to the existing catalog of markers, the printing system meets all requirements for marking in the electrical sector. The efficient printer employs proven thermal transfer technology to quickly and reliably create sharp and durable markings on labels and signs made of various materials, such as PVC, vinyl, polyester, ABS and polycarbonate. TTPCardMAX thus ensures long-lasting marking of terminal blocks, cables and wires, input and output devices, external control panels, switching modules and many other components. The ContaPrintMAX printing software, which is tailored to the marker cards, with templates for all materials, enables simple and intuitive operation. The print and feed sections are easily accessible for exchanging the color ribbon cartridge. A special cassette for automatically cleaning the materials to be printed increases the print quality. The ContaPrintMAX software for Windows operating systems allows users to edit and print the required markings for single, multiple or series labels with ease. The new PPVK push-in potential distribution terminals from Conta-Clip are the right solution to avoid incorrect wiring for the power supply in control cabinets – especially with large numbers of cables. They enable structured and clear power distribution in AC and DC control circuits. Thanks to the compact design of the terminals and the reduced wiring effort, users can establish the energy supply for equipment installed in control cabinets easily, efficiently and with a small footprint. The distribution terminals with extensive marking options combine several advantages. Conductors can be inserted without tools and with low mating resistance. There are cross-connection options for feed-in terminals and potential distribution terminals on both sides, allowing the permissible total current to be optimally distributed in both distribution directions; this supports a uniform current load and reduces local overloads. A built-in, insulated pusher is used to disconnect conductors. Depending on the application, users can choose between alternating or block grouping. The 6-mm² feed-in terminals are dimensioned for a rated current of 41 A and the 1.5-mm² distribution terminals for a rated current of 16 A. All insulating materials used in the series are free of pollutants and also comply with flammability class “V-0 self-extinguishing” according to UL 94. Pre-assembled potential distribution blocks including matching accessories are also available to help reduce the number of variants as well as warehousing and procurement costs. Even after commissioning, the PPVK potential distribution blocks can be expanded in modular fashion. Additional distribution terminals can be flexibly retrofitted via the second cross-connection channel and integrated into the existing potential distribution. Conta-Clip continuously expands and improves its cable management solutions and now presents the inverted modular cable entry system KDSI-SR-G for simple and service-friendly assembly from the outside to the inside. Users can feed cables with and without connectors into control cabinets, enclosures and machines and significantly speed up assembly. The design also enables easy changes to the installation at any time. The screwless, horizontally latching frame halves made of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide PA 6.6 feature dovetail profiles and thus do not have to be screwed but simply lock in place. Their double, overlapping integrated and captive TPE gasket ensures tight sealing according to protection type IP66. The black cable entry fits in standard cut-outs for 4, 10, 16 and 24-pin heavy-duty connectors. Furthermore, the 8/16 frame has a fixed partition and can be equipped with two 4-piece inlays. KDSI-SR-G fits cables with all connector sizes and allows the greatest possible variability in the order of assembly. It can either be attached directly to the housing with screws, partially assembled or pre-assembled externally for later mounting – which makes the versatile and time-saving system particularly interesting for cable assemblers as the customer-specific application decides which frame and assembly methods are used. The new KDS-SR Compact cable entries from Conta-Clip are ideal for the fast and secure feed-through of cables and tubes with or without connectors in confined spaces. The halogen-free, silicone-free system allows users to equip control cabinets and housings from the inside to the outside in a highly flexible manner in just a few simple steps – even with high packing density. The frame is fixed in the housing opening with M5 screws. Servicing or modifications are possible at any time without tools and without removing the frame. The compact, black screw-down frames securely hold the multi-resistant sealing elements, thereby providing IP66 protection and reliable strain relief. The modular system is suitable for the temperature range from -40 °C to +120 °C (static). The cable entries made of glass-fiber reinforced polyamide PA 6.6 / TPE have an UL 94 V-0 flammability classification. The entries go with the small sealing elements from Conta-Clip’s KDSClick cable management system. KDS-SR Compact with its captive injected gasket is based on the proven KDS-SR FB series for flat cables. The German manufacturer offers the system in four compact frame sizes for two to five sealing elements. Innovative cable management solutions Conta-Clip has developed the KDS cable entry systems for prefabricated and non-prefabricated cables and tubes with a special focus on tight sealing, good handling, modularity, variability and flexibility. Time is money – the versatile KES-R M cable entry system from Conta-Clip saves valuable installation time, allowing for control cabinets and enclosures to be equipped in seconds. The sealing membrane is simply pierced with a screwdriver at one of the marked centering points; then, 1.5 mm to 22.2 mm wide pneumatic tubes and electric cables without plugs are inserted. This enables much higher packing density than conventional cable glands. The KES-R M system with the distinctive dodecagonal design is mounted without tools in standardized metric openings from M25 to M63. It ensures reliable sealing up to IP54. To achieve IP66 protection and for enclosure walls thicker than 2.5 mm, the entries can also be screwed tight with a lock nut. The silicone- and halogen-free material mix of TPE and fiberglass reinforced polyamide 6.6 ensures tightness and stability. The KES-R M range includes 16 different variants in the sizes M25, M32, M40, M50 and M63.
