Time is money – the versatile KES-R M cable entry system from Conta-Clip saves valuable installation time, allowing for control cabinets and enclosures to be equipped in seconds. The sealing membrane is simply pierced with a screwdriver at one of the marked centering points; then, 1.5 mm to 22.2 mm wide pneumatic tubes and electric cables without plugs are inserted. This enables much higher packing density than conventional cable glands. The KES-R M system with the distinctive dodecagonal design is mounted without tools in standardized metric openings from M25 to M63. It ensures reliable sealing up to IP54. To achieve IP66 protection and for enclosure walls thicker than 2.5 mm, the entries can also be screwed tight with a lock nut. The silicone- and halogen-free material mix of TPE and fiberglass reinforced polyamide 6.6 ensures tightness and stability. The KES-R M range includes 16 different variants in the sizes M25, M32, M40, M50 and M63. Versatile cable entry family KES cable entry systems from Conta-Clip enable fast, tool-less and reliable routing of non-assembled electric cables and pneumatic tubes into control cabinets or housings. Various different designs for up to 68 cables increase installation efficiency. Round, rectangular and FDA-compliant cable entries are available.

The KES-E-R cable entry system from Conta-Clip is suitable for many cables and wires without connectors and can be fitted in standard metric housing openings without tools. This makes it an eminently practical alternative to conventional cable glands. The cable entries in a distinct dodecagonal design admits conductors with diameters from 1.0 mm to 22.5 mm to be inserted into metric cut-outs in a very small space. All it takes, is piercing the selected diaphragm at the marked centering point with a screwdriver and feeding the conductor through. Once pierced, diaphragms can be sealed with a blind plug if necessary. Made of the halogen- and silicone-free material TPE and featuring a sophisticated design, the cable entries ensure tight sealing and protection class IP54. The hygienic and well-thought-out design avoids cavities where dirt can collect and offers a high packing density. KES-E-R is available in 32 variants and two type ranges for different wall thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm (type A) and from 2.5 mm to 4.0 mm (type B). The ambient temperature range is -40 °C to 90 °C (static), and the cable entries are certified non-flammable according to UL 94 V-0. Conta-Clip’s KES-E-R cable entry system for tool-free installation ensures tight sealing and allows for high packing density

Conta-Clip has launched a new generation of sealing elements for its successful KDS cable entries, extending the comprehensive system’s application range. The new KDS-DE-Z2K sealing elements, manufactured using two-component technology, consist of hard plastic for secure strain relief and a seal made of elastic TPE. They ensure reliable sealing with a protection rating of IP66. The novel design achieves complete strain relief for cables and tubes in dynamic and static applications. On the other hand, individual sealing elements and conduits can be removed and swapped without tools at any time, if the installation requirements change. The sealing elements can be reused without sacrificing functionality. This makes them a dependable, easy-to-install alternative to conventional cable glands also suitable for pre-assembled cables with plugs. Due to the two-part design with separate strain relief, the sealing area is increased to up to 2 mm, so that just five KDS-DE-Z2K sizes cover all conductor diameters from 1 mm to 8.7 mm, reducing storage costs. The new combination sealing elements made of UL-listed plastics feature a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating (“self-extinguishing”).

The German connection technology specialist Conta-Clip introduces new space-saving two-level terminals for rated wire cross sections up to 4 mm˛. The compact PRKD 4 terminal blocks and the corresponding PSLD 4 PE terminals are available with two or three ports per level and halve the required installation space. In addition to the small footprint, both series are characterized by a large variance and particularly easy handling due to enlarged insertion channels and minimized engaging force. An integrated pusher, which can be operated with light pressure without special tools, is used to quickly disconnect wires. The terminal design and vertical wire insertion from above enable installation close to the wiring channels and thus very compact setups in the field. The high contact force of the push-in spring ensures secure fixation of the wire ends that withstands even strong vibrations and mechanical shocks. All potentials have a test tap for easy measurement. The PE terminals feature PE foot contacts on both sides. The two-level terminals made of non-toxic materials meet the UL 94 V-0 (self-extinguishing) flammability rating. Comprehensive labeling and marking options facilitate installation and servicing.
