In the case of maintenance or retrofitting with ready-made cable harnesses, cables with diameters from 2 mm to 35 mm can thus be quickly and safely inserted into control cabinets or housings and sealed in accordance with IP66
. The separable system ensures simple and fast assembly. Here, too, slotted sealing elements with a wave cut, which are placed around the cables and then inserted into one of the two halves of the gland, ensure secure sealing and an absolute tight fit. After inserting the sealing elements, the two halves of the cable gland are simply snapped together. A lock nut on the inside of the cabinet, which can also be split, ensures a secure and tight fit.
